2010 GMA Dove Awards - Editor’s Predictions

The editor takes his yearly stab at predicting the nominees for the 2010 GMA Music (Dove) Awards.  It looks to be a pretty predictable and ho-hum year according to Chris.  Is he thinking clearly this year, or is he totally off his rocker?  We’ll let you be the judge!  Check out who he thinks will have the best year at the upcoming Dove Awards.  Nominees will be announced on February 18, 2010, and the awards program will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Nashville, TN.

Editor’s Choice: Top 13 Albums of 2009

It’s that time of the year - when the editor counts down what he feels like were the best albums of the year.  This year’s list includes a wide variety of styles and 13 of the strongest albums to be released this past year.  Why 13 you ask?  Because it felt like a good number, and everyone else picks 10.  We just wanted to be different.

2010 Bridge Music Award Nominees

This year was a good year for music made by Christians - and The Bridge is honoring those artists with the 2010 Bridge Music Awards!  This year - Steven Curtis Chapman landed the most number of nominations - with nine nods due to his introspective and touching Beauty Will Rise release. The David Crowder Band earned eight nominations, while Mark Schultz and Sara Groves landed seven nominations. Hawk Nelson, Leeland, The Almost and Switchfoot each received six nominations.  Two artists - Phillips, Craig & Dean and Jade Harrell - got five nods.  Check out all the nominees in over 30 categories. Voting will begin soon!
