Robert Pierre Reaches Chicago Area Youth

Nashville, TN (Nov 12, 2007) -  Fifteen-year-old thinkaboutit records artist Robert Pierre recently performed before area youth in the western suburbs of Chicago, Ill., at a special “Inside Out Wheaton” concert event, held at the Fine Arts Center at Wheaton Academy in Wheaton, Ill. At the event, Pierre performed songs from his debut album, Inside Out, with a live band and was joined by youth speaker Justin Lookadoo. The “Inside Out Wheaton” event challenged students to live their life in Christ from the “inside out” and was a call to action for students to be proactive in their faith.

In addition to the free concert event, Pierre and Lookadoo also reached out to area students with special chapel service performances at Aurora Christian School in Aurora, Ill., and at Wheaton Academy. At the chapel services, students enjoyed two songs by Pierre and listened as Lookadoo spoke on relationship issues affecting students today.

With the release of Inside Out in November 2006, Robert Pierre has been receiving comparisons to Jump5, Jesse McCartney and Hanson from media outlets such as Focus on the Family’s Brio and Breakaway magazines for teens, Plugged In Magazine and Christian Music Planet Magazine. Pierre has been introducing tweens and their parents to his music through events like Rock the Universe 2006; “Inside Out Orlando,” held at the House of Blues Orlando; and the Christ in Youth “Believe Tour,” which hit ten markets throughout its October 2006-April 2007 run. He also recently completed a busy 2007 summer festival season with performances at the Crossover Festival, AtlantaFest, the Unity Christian Music Festival, the Rock the Light Festival and Rock the Universe 2007. Pierre’s interactive website further acquaints visitors with the teen artist by offering a preview of Inside Out through a flash audio jukebox player and downloads of buddy icons, banners, avatars and screensavers.
