Our Heart’s Hero to Release National Debut with Gotee Records

Band Tours Non-Stop This Summer On Two Tour Runs

(Nashville, Tenn.) June 26th, 2007 – Our Heart’s Hero, the newest band to ink a deal with Gotee Records, is poised to unveil their self-titled debut on September 18th.

Led by front man and guitarist Nick Joyce, Our Heart’s Hero includes Jason Nattier (guitar), Jeremy McKnight (bass guitar) and Ricky Holbrook (drums). The self-titled debut effort hails 11 songs of heartfelt, soaring pop-rock, all penned by Joyce, with eight of the songs being produced by Brent Milligan (Audio Adrenaline, ZOEgirl, Rebecca St. James) and Ian Esklelin taking credit for three songs.  Sonically, Our Heart’s Hero is being likened to Switchfoot, Sanctus Real, Jimmy Eat World, and Delirious.

Our Heart’s Hero has spent the last couple years touring extensively with over 150 dates a year nationwide. Fans can anticipate additional performances as the band joins the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tour this summer, as well as late summer dates as part of the Revolution Calling Tour with Red, GRITS, and Falling Up. Our Heart’s Hero also performed in 20 cities earlier this spring with The Afters.

With a major grassroots following and over 20,000 friends on myspace.com site, Our Heart’s Hero has sold 20,000 copies of their independent album to date.  The first radio single “Because Of The Blood” is currently going for adds at CHR radio.
