Michael Neale has spent his time in Christian music doing a couple different things.  He started off as a part of the duo Neale & Webb back in the mid-90’s before shedding his pop sound for praise and worship leader.  Neale is currently the worship leader of the popular People’s Church in Franklin, Tennessee (just outside Nashville).  No Greater Audience is Neale’s third national release for the industry’s leading worship label, Integrity Music Group.  This new live recording was performed and recorded at Christ Fellowship church in Florida - Neale’s previous place of worship.  All in all, No Greater Audience doesn’t feature any kind of major shift in musical or lyrical direction - rather just feels like a typical worship service at any evangelical church across America today.  However, I’m not sure that Neale wants to change up the sound - rather make an album that music ministers across the country wouldn’t mind mixing into their congregation.  Tunes like “You Amaze Me”, “No Greater Audience”, “I Am Yours”, and the spectacular “Beautiful King” should have no problem earning large followings with their accessibility and engaging lyrics.  Overall, the album has some really high moments, while others are just decent at most.  Michael Neale is a fantastic worship leader, and he writes some exceptional songs - but this album is definitely geared towards the worship leader looking for new songs.  In that aspect, the album definitely works.
