We all have them.  Those little, and sometimes big, demons that just sneak in from nowhere.  May it be lust, porn, drugs, or just plain old jealousy, we all fight them.  The guys from Chasing Victory can relate and have used this topic as their inspiration on Fiends.  This is the sophomore pain of love for these Georgia Alt rockers, and it shows maturity.  What I really like about this album is the willingness of the guys to break out of the whole emo scene and truly makes something that really rocks.  Adam Harrell, the vocalist, really shows us how versatile he can be.  You hear hardcore and emo vocals, but you also hear him just really rock it out.  This album is a good alt. rock album.  It reminds me of Blindside’s earlier stuff.  This is a very accessible album that anyone should relate to.  I know I did.  From the production and artwork to the lyrics and guitars, you can tell a lot of thought and passions went into Fiends.  I can’t wait to hear what future albums will sound like.

Purchase Fiends.
