Open Book is the third studio release from da’ T.R.U.T.H.  Coming from Cross Movement Records you know you are going to get two things:  basic beats with ministry
oriented lyrics.  You can call it rapping from a pulpit.  This album is more of the same with only one difference.  The beats are better.  I can really see where they stepped out of the box and experimented with the beats.  There are a few tracks that could rattle your trunk.  The concept of this album is how would da’ T.R.U.T.H.’s life look as an open book?  If this would be his last album, what would he say?  He lays it all on the line.  If you are a man of God, then this would be an album for you.  It asks where are the warriors at?  Where are the warriors that look past dollar signs?  Where are the warriors that treat a lady like a lady and reclaim our households?  Where are the warriors that take their walk seriously and hold the truths and principles of the Bible close to our hearts?  Where are the warriors that go out and claim what the enemy has stolen?  Not that this whole album is testerone
driven.  da’ T.R.U.T.H. tones it down with “Rose” which is a love song to his baby girl and wife. Its a nice change of pace from the rest of the album.  Overall, this is a solid album.

Purchase Open Book.
